I bought Iridium spark plugs to replace the Platinum plugs that were in it. One of the new plugs snapped at the base of the ceramic with just slight pressure. New plugs (has to be a set of 8 *sigh*) won't be here until next week. So now I'm one plug short.
Have already replaced coil packs and wires.
My question is, can I re-gap and reuse one of the old Platinum plugs with the other Iridium plugs for a week? Might need to make 1 trip to town before then, and that's 100 miles round trip.
There is one Platinum plug that still looks quite good. Otherwise I wouldn't even ask. We "do" have another truck, but is very rough-riding on these gravel roads.
