While you have it off check for a worn out plastic bushing on the pivot on the spring tensioner. A lot of the JD decks use them and a pair of them is like 7.00 at the dealer. I had on on a 325 that was so bad I was afraid it would throw the belt. New bushings,packed it with grease and it had no up and down play in it.
