You may want to rethink purchasing this tractor. You may have fond memories of this tractor but it was a problem child. I remember a number of them ending up in some headge row needing a new engine. The 856 on the other hand was a great tractor as was the 806 the big brothers to the 706/756.
This may be the reason for them being less expensive today.
