The most compact and simplest solution would be to find a factory power steering gear.
But, be sure there is a blank cover plate on the engine, just in front of the distributor, back side of the timing gear area. If not, there is no place to mount the factory pump. A belt driven automotive pump could be mounted, but might be tough with the loader in the way.
If you go this route, best to have the donor tractor there, or at least have the opportunity to remove and document all the needed parts so nothing gets lost, damaged or left behind. Be a good idea to replace all the seals before you install the gear.
Adding electric assist steering is also an option. It would probably be cheaper, but it is somewhat bulky, requires cutting some sheet metal under the dash.
But using it on a working tractor is going to really stress the steering gear. All it does is amplify the torque being applied to the input shaft. How the steering gear holds up will be a gamble. They are not over built enough to handle much of that.
