After digging deeper into the cub we decided it's too far gone. Cleaned up the valves and seats, lots of pitting. Adjusted valves and poured a little oil on each one, leaked past almost immediately. Stuck a head gasket on and tightened it down. Zero compression on two cylinders and 5 psi on the other two. Block, head, final drive, radiator and front bolster all have a ton of brazing on them. Governor and starter are rusted solid. Manifold rusted through. Seat, carb, brakes and hydraulic pump are missing. 3 out of 4 tires are shot. Both front rims have rust rot. Gas tank looks like Swiss cheese. Going to get a old sickle mower mounted on it and call it yard art. This is our 50th tractor and the first one we took off life support. Will steal parts off it as needed. Got my spare car doughnut tires on it to move it around! $12 worth of cheap spray paint....... It's yard art worthy.
