Call it WHATEVER trips your trigger, but it goes so far THIS way, turns so many degrees Another way and goes so much distance, then turns a different way, etc. etc. etc. Computer controlled like an auto-steered tractor, or a Climate Field View Combine that gives you a color coded map of your entire farm with bushels per acre of every square foot the combine covered. Our tenant that farms the 80 We farmed with our neighbor when I was a kid sent me the map of that 80. Best Dad and neighbor ever got for yields was 125-150 bpa, Some places our tenant got over 300 bpa. and 220 average. We farmed it from about 1962 to 1972, this map was 2016. I think our other tenant on our 160 acres probably uses the mapping too.
If a machine can create a map as it goes like that, the computer can tell the machine where to go next pass over the area.
