If you live in the deep south like I do, you need not worry too much about freezing. Use plain tap water, injected with an adaptor available at farm equipment supply stores.Move the tractor until the valve stem is at maximum height, then fill with water (from completely "flat")from the tap until water runs back out the stem, when allowed. (You may have to let air escape several times. This can be done through the fitting after stopping the water.) Finish filling up to pressure with air. If you happen to have an extremely cold snap, don't move the tractor until thaw. No harm done. I recommend a tube, if only to prevent rim rust.
