You shouldn't be able to spin the tires on a TLB. And the 550 diesel engine is only 59 HP. You take something that heavy, 11,400 pounds, and 59 HP? Spinning the rear tires might be a neat trick.
Putting extra stress on the rear axles by drastically increasing HP may cause you to break an axle.
And face it. Most engine upgrades will deliver no more than a 10% increase in HP and most often only 2-3%. Even a turbo will only add 15-20% and still be reliable as a daily use engine. 15% on that engine will be a whopping 8.85 HP. 25% would be 14.75. On an 11,400 pound machine you really ain't going to notice much.
