The big wide leaves look like milkweed to me. had them around since forever. Now the state wants to spend money to help them since they are a feed source for the monarch butterfly. They want to make them a protected plant on ditch banks and such. Fools. I have a neighbor that if things go for hm will be planting it and getting paid by the government for it to raise weeds for the monarch butterfly and other things.
