I bought about 16 8 ft slimline lamps, the double row LED's, ordered them on Ebay.
They began failing about 2 months after I installed them. Did what yours did very annoying strobing and finally quit.
I opened them up and found a micro-transistor burned up. I took apart the failed ones and combined the good power supplies to make one good lamp. The power supplies were wrapped in paper, which I removed, and drilled some holes in the aluminum housing so they could get some ventilation.
Several failed in rapid succession, I bought some more from a different vendor, but they are identical. So far I haven't had any more fail, but I suspect they will.
Bought several 8ft HO's, they have all lasted without problems. Same thing, China made on Ebay.
Pretty much stuck with the China ones, the ones from the lighting supply are just priced beyond reason, and no guarantee they are any different. Also can't find the double row really bright ones anywhere but Ebay and Amazon.
I'll have to take the gamble on the cheap ones for now. Boss doesn't even like spending what I do for these.

I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
