Guess the corn made it this year. Been dry here in nwwis, but not crop killing dry, but could use more water. first crop hay was short with older stands noticeably poorer. 2nd crop coming but not real thick. Have hauled a few loads to the local hay auction and been getting $ 4 to 5.50 a bale. selling horse quality rounds 4'x5.5' for $60 off the field. Our ground has a lot of low spots and usually have a lot of stunted or drownded out spots in the fields, but they all look green and lush over the whole fields. Nicest corn we've had in years. Wondering what I should be looking forward to. Maybe a hail storm or perhaps an early frost. Put my wagon pulling, crop checking 8n in the picture so it fitsm in tractor talk.
