I am very confident from what I observed back in the sixties that there were more 8Ns with loaders than without. That is not to say that they are as good with a loader as newer tractors but in their day many farmers got a lot more done with them than before with just a wheelbarrow and shovel, and they were able to add probably another dozen cattle and live a far better life.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
