Woods RM660 is set up for 540 pto rpms. Jubilee at 1550 rpms makes close to 540 pto I did the math once. At 2100 engine rpms on the Jubilee, the mower tip speed was around 200 mph. Mower has 2 ft blades. You could hear the sharp blades cut the grass like a sharp knife cutting cabbage. One time the wind blew off my hat. I hit the brakes only to have the outer blade nick the bill of the hat and send it out the shoot about 10 ft. Got lucky it didn't eat my free Menards hat.
Using the Kubota on the RM660, I'm pushing 2400 engine rpms to get 540 pto rpms.
The Farmall at full speed is pushing 540 pto rpms.
I think my tip speeds on both tractor's mowers under 200 mph. Still does a good job. 200 mph is a little better at cutting and spreading clippings. No grass clumps if grass is dry. Do the math if you want feet/min or feet/second.
