Don't buy the cheapest pads; when they get extremely hot, what they're bonded together with melts, justt nough to make a barely noticeable 'bump' on the rotor. This makes you think it's warped the rotor as your pedal will pulsate. Warped rorors are a rarity, even 50 years ago. I KNOW this is true as my Ford Taurus had what I THOUGHT were warped rotors; new ones at that time were $20.00 each, so I rplaced them rather than trying to find a shop that would turn them down. A month later, it was doing the same thing. Asked a friend of mine who's a mechanic and that's what he told me. Paid extra for ceramic pads and they 'cleaned' up the rotors.
