Wide open on a U, the single point of attachment of the seat mount failed and I fell off the back. Hanging onto the steering wheel the tractor turned right a few degrees, and dragging my feet on the limestone county road, the right rear hit a utility pole. My face smashed into the rear housing, I let go the wheel, and the engine stalled on the second bounce against the pole. The seat position hanging off the back was/is a bad idea. I had no lasting physical scars, but I retain the memory of the entire event 58years later. Jim
