We have a neighbor that has sheep and we had a flock (25) years ago. The neighbor tub grinds most of their hay and the sheep eat every bit of it. I hated that they would shake out the leaves and leave the stems. I always wanted to grind and pelletize the alfalpha so we could get all the bang for our buck. You'll behappy with ground hay and so will the sheep. Your wallet may not like going on a diet though. lol gobble
