I bought Jubilee and Farmall C that were converted to 12v. Not everyone will agree with me, but the best thing I did was to replace starter with a 12v one on Jubilee and couldn't find a 12v stater for Farmall. So I use an old lawn mower battery in Farmall. Before I converted to 12v starter, I would shear off starter drives I purchased form YT. The final straw was shearing off a starter tooth on Jubilee flywheel.
Some may not have my problem. Both my engines were rebuilt and have good compression. Very happy having an alternator too. NO regrets buying a 12v starter from YT. I probably spent more on starter drives than I paid for starter.
