The locals found out they were coming and stood their ground.
The wanna be rioters called 911, said there were people pointing guns at them. The sheriff sent word that he was busy right now, but he could be there in a little while, but in the mean time he suggested if they are point guns at you the best thing they could do would be to leave! After a short shoving and name calling spree, the gun barrels remained silent but well aimed, they left.
And haven't been back! The statue still stands! Patriots prevailed!
