The parts we ordered from here at YT came in so we got to work. So heres where were at. Carburetor is back together and on. New sediment bowl. New fuel line. Changed oil and filter. No water in the oil at all. New spark plug wires, cap, rotor, coil cover, and points set to .013. Rewired tractor with 10ga wire. Checked the valve clearance. Now the bad news. It looks like the starter is shot. It will barely try to turn the engine over then quits. I took it apart and cleaned it up but it didnt get better. I tried 2 different fully charged batteries straight on the starter and it still wont turn the tractor over. Not sure what were gonna do about that yet. Other than the starter can you think of anything we forgot to check before we try to crank this thing up? As alway I appreciate your thoughts!
