I thought that might be the issue so I took them off. That was worse so I put them back on. They are not heavy as they are just plastic pipe and there is no down pressure so I doubt there is more than a couple pounds of force on them. I did consider making the heavier to hold the crop against the pickup and roller better. But I never got to it.
