My son ( and girlfriend) hit a bull on a dark road near Bastrop Tx on his way back to San Marcos about 20 years ago. Totaled the truck. They only got small cuts and scraps and bruises. Of coarse in this case the local deputy could not find the bulls owner even though they easily found where the bull had crossed a broken fence leaving a field of many cows. The only animals in the area for miles. He said it really was like hitting a brick wall. Im just glad they were in a truck that had some height to the front end. Wingnut
