I have had trannys start to act funny and have changed the oil and filter to get many more miles out of them I had my moms flushed out one time and didnt have any trouble out of it but have had people say if you flush them out they give you problems but you I haven't heard that changing oil and filter causing any problems I always see gunt under filter so I think cleaning all that out and new filter is a good thing
