Does you tractor have factory auxiliary remotes? What happens if you deadhead one of those? Does your 3 point raise then? If it will that tells me the plate is tapping into flow path that operates the factory hydraulics. Since the valve you added is open center the flow when your joystick is centered is just dumping back to the reservoir and cannot build pressure to operate the factory hydraulics upstream of it. So I suppose this would also mean if you run a loader function to the end of the stroke and hold the valve it would then do the same thing and allow the 3 point to raise. To me that would prove as others have said it probably will not work without a switching valve in the plate. Just painting on this with a wide brush. After your 5th post you should be able to post pictures. But I do not know what that will add to help. I would contact Steiner tomorrow and see if they are sure this will work for your application.
