I've both loaded and unloaded backhoes that way with the deck at 42 inches. I've also loaded and unloaded excavators in the same manner. One time I had to unload a backhoe off the side of my trailer with other equipment on behind it. with a bank of dirt bedis the hoe just set the rearend over then pulled it back till the front was about to come off set the front bucket tight on the floor and pulled it back till the wheels were on dirt then backed it up the rest of the way. I've had to load and unload some crazy stuff in crazy ways. Some people would not want to watch even from a distance.
