It was ready to go late Friday - I baled for about an hour and the sky opened up, so we tedded it back out Saturday and again yesterday - it actually came out pretty good. They've got the Krone chain baler and a John Deere and New Holland belt balers. The Krone seems to make the nicest bale, and it's about impossible to plug. The rotary rake makes a nice tall windrow but it'll sometimes hang up under the tractor, which makes a huge slug for the baler, which will make the tractor grunt but it doesn't plug Central NY has some beautiful scenery - if it weren't for the brutal taxes, it would be just about perfect - well, there's the winters too...

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
