Bought a cub back in June. We knew motor was stuck. Sold some planter and cultivator parts off it and have about $200 in the tractor. Pulled the head, one cylinder had a small line of rust running down to the piston. Those 2 valves were rusty. No water visible. Wiped it out good, poured transmission fluid in everything. Took oil plug out , 3-4 quarts of just oil came out. Let it sit a week, fluid drained out of 3 cylinders, but not the one that was rusted. Sucked the transmission fluid out and tried Free All...... 2 weeks later tried Deep Creep. Valve cover is off and been spraying Deep Creep in there every day or two. Transmission fluid will now drain past all four pistons. Starter is off and even with a 4 ft pry bar that motor will not budge. Motor is surprisingly clean, not a rusty mess like some I've seen. Any thoughts? I put it in 3rd gear and rock it back and forth nearly every day. Then take it out of gear to use pry bar.
