David Browns first attempt as a 6 cylinder tractor in 1956 and the engine is a 6 cylinder version of a 4 cylinder 30D diesel engine. They sent a lot to the carabbean for hauling sugar cane trailers. The american tractor builders put hydraulic pumps on your tractors with a spoolvalve and rear outlets on the large pulling tractors. DB intrduced this tractor in 1956 with no provisions to fit an hydraulic system and no independent P.T.O. The 50D had a use with thrashing cotractors but by 1956 most of them were going over to combine harvesters anyway. Majorman was right they are mutch sort after to the David Brown tractor collector.
