Back in the 80's dad and I were looking for a tractor I could fix up and drive in parades. There were several Farmall A and B tractors around here back then. We went to auctions to look. I remember one B bringing $75 and one for $125. A model A with belly sickle and cracked block for $225. A 1940 farmall M for $250. Looked at a stuck 1952 JD G. The owner changed his mind and would sell to us. Sold it for scrap five years later along with a model A. Ended up buying a 1941 Case SC that had been painted for the auction for $500. I still have it.
