Dad had many old friends that hauled livestock, back in the 1950's & '60's all those little livestock trucking companies had tire chains to be able to get to/from the Chicago Stockyards or Peoria Stockyards. Dad bought up many sets of semi-tractor chains and built chains for FARMALL H & M, sure are heavy! Twice as many cross chains as most chains available, cross chain every other side chain link.
Place on the Internet called E-Trailer has a pretty good selection of chains, but be warned, Good chains will not be cheap. But a couple years ago when I pushed snow off the end of the road tube under my driveway about SIX INCHES too far, couldn't back up, I drove down off the side of my driveway into 2-3 foot deep snow and chewed my way up into my front yard. Without chains I can't even drive up my concrete driveway, I never take them off my #1 snow mover!
