Was curious if anyone has used an Acculink or another style link belt on their tractors? I have a Ford 6610 that has a front mounted hydraulic pump. It is needing the fan/alternator belt changed and it appears to be a decent job as this belt is routed through several pulleys.
Not afraid to get my hands dirty but was just curious if anyone has saved some time by using one of these belts? I have seen them used on plenty of wood working applications but not too many tractor related posts.
If not, I will need to slide the hydraulic pump off, and probably stretch the belt over each one of the fan blades to get it off.
Thanks!
Side note: Just picked this tractor up a month ago. New front tires/wheels, new muffler, new pre-cleaner, new rear boot seals. Still need to button up a few things but happy with how it is turning out.
