So the lightening struck the tree Friday night if I remember correctly. Didn't see any damage and everything worked in the house. Wednesday I got my beef home. Today blood was coming out of the freezer when I got up. I have two freezers, an upright and a chest, and the house fridge/freezer. All were full up, so couldn't even move the meat. Oh well, gave some away, cooked some and only had to toss a few packages. Neighbor thinks the lightning did it. I don't know. Sure would have been nice if it had quit before the meat showed up. And it's amazing how much blood and water can come out of a few pounds of meat. It was everywhere. And it kept coming out while we were moving the old fridge. Had blood to clean up all over. What a mess. But the new fridge is in.
