With a single stage clutch and a brush cutter you need to install a over running clutch in the PTO driveline. It works like a ratchet tool. Allows power to be applied to drive the brush cutter but ratchets in the other direction stopping the momentum of the brush cutter blades from driving the drive tires with the clutch in. A Yanmar 2210 will use the clutch for a short shaft PTO. You may also need to cut the PTO drive shaft shorter to compensate for the added length of over running clutch being added inline.
