Lets take a bunch of stuff from different brands and time frames and see it they go together. What could go wrong! Todays ingredients are a 1940s tractor with aftermarket 3 point hitch thats a category 2. A new category 1 quick hitch. And 1 Ford 101 plow. I got the hitch mounted and moved the plow in to hook it up.
At this point if your thinking that aint gonna work, your spot on! I dont see any way the plow will mate to that style of quick hitch. So I took it off and put the plow on without it. That was successful put what a pain in the back. And that is the whole point of this exercise, trying to make it easier to mount implements without needing to be a pro wrestler to do it. So now Im thinking that quick hitch it going to be returned and Im going to try this style instead.
Do any of you have experience with this type? Are they good or am I wasting my time? As always thanks for your thoughts and help!
