The starter I have just had on the tractor was on the tractor when I bought it. Don't know if one like that was put on by case or not. I do believe the starter is too wimpy for the tractor but I don't know the HP of the starter or if there is a larger starter that would fit the tractor. It wouldn't be low voltage, the tractor and starter were originally 6v and has been converted to 12v. The cables are about as big as they come and I put the largest battery in the tractor that would fit. I don't know about the hydraulic pump. As old as it is I don't think it's dragging.
