Every time something brakes, or I think it does. I fear the worst, and just start tearing into the what I think may be the problem. Last tractor related was my JD started loosing power and finally stopped. It has to be the fuel filter. I thought. I take off to buy another one. Install it, and tractor runs great. then after a while the same thing. Come to find out the lift pump was weak. I happened to have a spare. been working ever since. Today the pump in my wife's not mine fish pond quit. The pump had something stuck in the impellor. Motor windings must be bad it didn't work. I yank it out take it apart to change motor windings with a used part. 1 1/2 hours later. The problem was the motor had a overload protection. All I would have had to do is let the motor cool after I freeded the impellor. Not all bad, I did get a small mowing job done. So how is your day going? Stan
