Like a lot of people sometimes my repairs save me money and sometimes not so much.this time I came out smelling like a rose so to speak.my wifes f-150 check engine light was on,and the fuel pump was acting up.mechanic said not enough fuel pressure on the right side of the engine but didnt go as far as diagnosing the exact cause,possibly fuel pump or something else.600-1200 bucks depending on what it was.so I told him I would change the pump myself and Bring it to him for the check engine light (hes a close friend and gets plenty of my business when its something I cant handle)the old pump ended up being bad AND had a lifetime warranty on it!So my labor was the only thing Im out of plus the check engine light hadnt come back on either (knock on wood)
