Hello John welcome to YT! Well I thought one of the Oliver guys would chime in here and help you out. They have their own section on here and do not like all the exposure up here, besides they are probably jealous you found it in the barn instead of them. I am just pulling their chains. Now I am not an Oliver expert I do not even remember ever driving one. However knowing the layout of a tractor with live hydraulics I would agree your presumption is correct. The parts diagram seem to confirm it, see link. One thing I cannot tell you for sure is how the live power makes its way through the UOD unit. If you come back here and post a reply so I know you are still looking here I will post this over on the Oliver board to see if it will rattle any brains over there.
