I picked this disc up with that Ford plow you guys helped me with a couple of weeks ago. I finally got it in the shop to look it over. At first glance it looks pretty rough but now that Im actually looking it over I think its in fairly good shape. I see I have one broken pin that has walked out of position. If I can get the outside 2 discs off I can fix that.
It looks like there are 2 grease fitting for each bearing. I dont see anything broken. I think Im going to pump in as much grease as they will take.
Im not sure if you can see it in the pictures but it did take some damage at some point in its past. I see a couple of places with some really rough welding done to it. Not sure if I really need to do anything with those spots or just leave them be.
It is missing one scrapper. I dont think Ill get time to work on it till next week, but in the mean time what do you guys think? Is there anything else I should be looking at that Im not thinking of? As always thank you for your help.
