Tom, go with a Therma Tru brand door unit, that's all I use in my building business. They have lots of jamb width options as well as jamb materials also as in full composite jambs, which I just about always use. Door skin can either be steel or fiberglass which I use mostly. Lowes handles Therma Tru, but it's a cheaper version. I'm guessing it's rotted at the bottom of the frames ? If you find something close in jamb width, any adding to the jamb should be to the exterior side of the jamb after removing the exterior molding, the door should be even with the wall inside !
