ooh yes the country was full of them. hardly could drive by a farm without seeing one of these or the john deere D. the 6 was a very good all around tractor. learned to drive ours at around five years old, i could not push the clutch in so dad just had me stop and start it in low gear picking rocks, by hand that is. ooh reminds me that was a 6 volt battery also back then and guys worried now about switching to 12 volt. no better way to learn to drive a tractor in the wide open field. we got the 560 ih when i was 10 years old and i was discing with it in the field . it seamed big back then.
