Heres LaRoys John Deere G pulling tractor..The family kept it as he loved that tractor...He ground feed and brush hogged with it ..
When I got to the sale I was talking to some members of LaRoys family about his old JD G puller...I told them I had absolutely no pictures of it and one of them went to the house and gave me this nice 8 by 10 picture which I sure appreciated....My copier refuses to work so this is a picture of a picture..His last pull was at Sheldon,MO in August 2019..This old G was tough in the 5500-6000-6500 classes at 3 mph.
The JD grinder mixer sold for $350..
The JD 1008 10 ft brush hog sold for $1,750..
The grain carts sold for $850 each x 2 to the same buyer....The JD auger wagon behind them sold for $900..
The New Holland bale wagon sold for $1,100....
The JD disk sold for $1,250..
The Kewanee culti-packer sold for $1,000...The JD V-rake sold for $1,500..
I ended up with the 14x38 9 bolt wheels for $190 each x2...They were made in 5-76 and had never been used...Those were his tractor pulling weights...
The 5 bottom JD plow sold for $200...The JD 3 bottom plow sold for $160 and I think the guy that bought the JD 60 tractor got it..
