I have cheapie like that from HF.
When I bought Farmall C someone had the fuel mix screw all the way in.
Mistake, fuel mix screw is backwards. All the way in, rich mix, plugs turned black in a few hours.
First terramite left plug turned black in 10 hours. Took me a while to figure out that problem. Only one carb. No fuel mix screw. So I kept asking why is one cylinder right cylinder a clean plug left cylinder a dirty plug??? Passed compression and leak down test.
Final answer, left cylinder needed valves lapped in. Carbon on valve, valve wasn't sealing right under fire. Left cylinder was 700 degrees right cylinder 900 degrees exhaust temp.
