A lot of the new aftermarket mufflers have a hole straight through them from bottom to top. They are only slightly quieter than a straight pipe but not by much. Like Jim mentioned almost any muffler that will fit your manifold outlet will work. Be careful the muffler you get is not too long where it could hit a low door sill or low tree limbs if it is a vertical muffler.
