The cab was one of several reasons I bought now. Also, while the Kubota was the best tractor I ever had, I'm going to need a utility tractor with more power for my upcoming operations which include a larger, heavier planter. The Kubota was maxed out on a John Deere 6 row planter loaded with seed and liquid fertilizer not to mention hills. I wanted a planter tractor with a 60 inch tread center and this one has it. John Deere ran out of tractors and Kubota wouldn't be able to get me a new tractor until April of 2022. In the meantime, New Holland and CaseIH were having a big sale on tractors. They had them sitting all over the place. This will also be my snow plowing, wood hauling tractor and, at age 85, I don't really enjoy sitting out in the open all that much. I've gone through several episodes where the day started out nice and then turned ugly before I was finished. All that, plus I wanted to buy now for tax reasons. I don't think DEF is going to cause any problems. My wife's BMW 328dX uses DEF and it will soon be 8 years old with no problems yet.
