My dad had a 66 or 67, 1/2 ton, plane Jane, no frills, 3 on the tree, 304.
It was just basic transportation, rough ride, hard to steer, definitely not a chick magnet!
But it was always reliable, it never got any care, always a back up vehicle so it didn't get many miles on it. The lifters rattled horribly for the first 30 seconds on a cold start, always did.
Not sure what happened to it, assume he sold it when he retired.
I don't miss it. He also had a 55 Chevy, a 64 Chevy, and a 72 Chevy. Sure wish I could go back and lay a claim to those before they got away!
