As has been mentioned over and over; 100# of air. I've been on the business end of a chain saw (wood mower) for sixty years and all that we ever do is once a day or so, or when pulling the bar for one reason or another, pull that clutch cover, scrape off the worst of the glunk with a screwdriver and knock out the loose stuff. As has also been covered above, as long as the oil passages are clear and it can spit out the wood chips, you are pretty much good to go.
