It isn't the people that we hate. It is their stupid, mindless, and continuous legislation that makes no sense whatever. California has its own unique problems with air quality thanks to building a city in a basin that traps every bit of pollution.
Then they come out with legislation like proposition 65. That has to be the pinnacle of ridiculous. I pick up something as simple as a garden rake and it has a proposition 65 warning on it that it might cause birth defects or reproductive harm among other things.
Some of the things they start are good. Cleaner air is good. Cleaner running engines are good. Banning engines is not so good. They are really good at throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
