GP, Some golf carts are EV's and some are engine powered. The batteries don't last very long and are costly to replace. 10 years ago I bought a new Kaw 4010 mule instead of a golf cart. My boss drives it almost daily. Very useful tool to have on 22 acres. We need a 4x4 too. The mule can easily haul 100 gallons of water.

The Villages in Florida are made for gas powered golf carts. I wonder what the used ones are selling for?
