i restored and repainted the tractor for the original owner. on my dime. he was not in the best health and always wanted to fix this up.he was not aware that i took the tractor to my shop and rebuilt it. i gave him back the tractor and he was elated. several years later he passed away and the family gave me the tractor. they were neighbors. btw, at the funeral, we found out he was in a glider on d day at normandy. he never spoke of his service in ww2 . i also own a body shop, so the repaint is no big deal.
