I feed my mice and leave party drinks. Plenty of mice bait for them to eat and antifreeze to drink. I put the party food in a place no pet can get to. I find if I put plenty of party food in out buildings I don't have mice in my house. I buy a small bucket of bait from Menards for about half the price per pound. Always carry some bait in my truck. I have a few out buildings and garages to feed mice.
